Ask Backdash
Which night should I cut a server?
Tuesday. It averages $2,240 in sales, 41% below Saturday, but you schedule nearly the same hours.

Set up once. Check it with your coffee.

Most owners piece this together from the POS, supplier portals, the bank and a schedule spreadsheet, usually late at night. Backdash pulls it into one place and keeps it current.

Step 1

Connect what you already use

Your POS sales export, supplier invoices, bank statements and staff schedule. Share a folder or forward emails; no new system for your team.

Step 2

Pick the cards you care about

Choose from a catalog: yesterday's sales, labor %, food cost, cash, deadlines. Ask for a card that isn't there and we build it.

Step 3

Ask when something looks off

"Why was Tuesday slow?" The assistant answers from your own numbers and says plainly when data is missing.

What's on the board

Built for one to five locations, run by the owner, without a finance team.

Daily sales and profitYesterday against the same day last week, and profit after labor and fixed costs.
Labor against salesScheduled hours times pay rates, as a share of sales, per location and per day.
Food cost from real invoicesSupplier invoices read line by line, so you see which ingredient prices moved.
Cash and big paymentsBank statements turned into a balance trend and the month's largest expenses.
Licenses, permits and leasesEvery renewal and notice deadline on a calendar, with a reminder before it bites.
A feed check you can trustEach card shows when its data last arrived, so a stalled feed is caught the next day.

Questions owners ask

Do I have to change my POS or suppliers?

No. Backdash reads what those systems already produce: sales exports, invoice emails and PDFs, bank statements.

Who can see my data?

Each restaurant runs on its own, with its own database. Your numbers are never mixed with anyone else's, and the assistant can read but never change them.

What does it cost?

A one-time setup and a flat monthly fee per location. We'll quote it on the call once we know what you need connected.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, the board is built for a phone first. A dedicated app is on the way.
